Natural Sauna Therapy
Natural Sauna Therapy is a wonderful way to relax and help your body cleanse its self of impurities. There is also a feeling of contentment and peace when you step out of your sauna. It is a truly an amazing experience. They have been around since the ice age in one form or another.
What most people believe
Most of us think of taking a sauna as going to a gym sitting next to some smelly, sweaty people who are strangers with hot steam all around you where you can hardly breathe. This is not my idea of an enjoyable experience.
The Bodies Intake of Toxins
In todays society we are putting toxins into our bodies at an alarming rate with just about everything we do. It is very difficult not to come in contact with chemicals in some shape or fashion. Brushing teeth, gargling, deodorant, the cloths you wear, foods, plastics, styrofoam cups, sodas, coffees, all contain minute traces of chemical toxins.
Can you name any others? The air you breath also contains toxins. The average person’s intake of toxins is approximately 20 micro grams of toxin chemicals into the body on a daily basis.
Granted the toxins add up to a small amount on a daily basis but just think on a yearly basis and then multiply the years. Where do you think all of absorbed chemicals go? Many go into the cells of our bodies and others are naturally discarded. Pretty darn scary isn't it?
I read an article where scientists extracted blood from a person who ate all organic and watched everything he wore and did trying to be healthy. They found 33 different chemicals in his body that his body did not create.
The Bodies Way of Releasing Toxins
A normal way to get rid of toxins is sweating which a Natural Sauna causes you to do. Your Bodies cells are surrounded by fluids. When you sweat these fluids come out through the pores of your body. The cells also contain fluids and help replace what was lost along with the toxins that are within the cells.
Two Types of Saunas
There are also saunas that are referred to as dry saunas. These have no steam and produce heat through the use of heaters and the interior of these have very low humidity. They are usually referred to as FIR saunas.
Steam Saunas, steam baths, and steam showers are another type. These produce the steam from an out side source and have very high humidity. Others produce the steam from water being put on lava rocks. That is typically referred to as a wet sauna.
Cost
The cost of a natural sauna to operate is very small compared to medical expenses and the peace of mind that comes with it. You are talking maybe 50 cents per 1 hour usage. Thirty minutes is usually the max time to spend in a sauna.

Your Body and Illness
Have you ever wondered why when you get sick your internal body raises the temperature. That is part of your bodies defense mechanism warding off bacteria and viruses. Your white blood cell count also goes up to fight the invaders because of this.
When your in your sauna you are creating an artificial fever in your body. This effect fools your body into start warding off bacteria and viruses. You are thus creating an inhospitable environment for bacteria and viruses. They have a hard time multiplying and surviving in an elevated temperature environment.
My Self
I own an FIR sauna and use it about 5 times a week for 30 minutes. I cannot believe that I have waited all of these years to get one. I feel absolutely great and have never felt better in my life. I have a corner Natural Sauna unit that can seat 3 to 4 comfortably. It took me about 30 minutes to set up. Unbelievable!
